Mea
Mea is a nice red roan Appaloosa; she
stands 15 hh and is 7 years old.  She
would make a good hunt seat or western
horse for a small woman or young rider.
Mea fits into the herd without any trouble.
She is low ranking. Mea is very smart
and comes up to her person in the
pasture for attention. Her adoption fee is
$500 and will be adopted with a no
breeding contract. Her fee is low
because she is considered green broke
and will require someone to spend
some additional time with her. She was
taken to a trainer and taught the basic
walk, trot, canter and just needs a tune
up. An experienced horse person is best
as Mea is gentle when she knows the
person is in charge, otherwise she can
be a bit "pushy". She is not mean, just
needs to know who is in charge.

Adoption fee: $500
Alfie
Alfie is a gentle yearling gelding. He
comes to people in the pasture and likes
the attention. He leads calmly, and is
easy to handle. He picks up his feet well
and stands for the farrier. Alfie is doing
great living with 15 geldings in a large
pasture and going into a stall his at
night. He has been gelded, had his teeth
floated, he is current on shots and
dewormed. Alfie should grow to 15
hands.

Adoption fee: $350

Libby
Libby is a kind and gentle Grullo mini
mare, born in 1985. She was used as a
brood mare for many years and now
cannot make money for her owners any
longer because cannot be bred. Poor
thing was shown her appreciation for
years of service to her people by being
thrown away and sent to auction. We
saved her and now Libby is looking
forward to her new job as a companion
to your mini horse or pony.

Adoption fee: $300

She will be adopted under a no breeding
contract.

Perry
Perry was born in May 2009. He is a
Buckskin miniature colt, sent to auction
because he has a bad undershot jaw.
His teeth were so bad, the lower teeth
had grown into the upper jaw, preventing
his mouth to close and preventing him
from chewing. Weak from hunger, he
was starving to death. Every one of his
rib and hip bones could be felt
underneath the long winter hair. Perry
will need dental work done twice a year
for the rest of his life to make sure his
teeth function so he can eat. Perry is
kind, gentle and loving and would make
a perfect companion for you mini horse
or pony. Please consider this little guy as
your new forever "pet". He will be gelded
in April 2010.

Adoption fee: $300
